Biography

Based in Athens, Greece "StamGero" is a creative initiative formed by filmmaker Stamatis Gerochristodoulou. Making videos from 2012 and studying the art of Digital Filmmaking at the age of 18 in SAE Technology Group Athens, he decided to have a large focus on commercials, events & documentaries.

He actively cooperates as a freelancer Cinematographer / Editor & Motion Graphic Designer in events for companies such as Adidas, L'oreal, Vichy, Kaizen, Johnson & Johnson, Barilla, Reebok, Athenian Brewery, Papastratos and many more.

He was the director of photography and producer in the short documentary "The Carpenter and his Wife" which did its premiere at the "19th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival" and has been multiple awarded.

He was the producer in the short film "Meetballs" starring Nikos Psaras, Promitheas Aliferopoulos and Nancy Boukli which did its premiere at the "National Short Film Festival in Drama 2017" and has been multiple awarded. 

Stamatis was the live director and editor in the martial art events of "Muay Thai Grand Prix Greece" but his work also includes many interviews for the website "Provocateur" & "Media Diversity".


He was a volunteer in TEDx as a videographer, editor for "Panteion University" and for "National and Kapodistrian University of Athens". He also volunteered as a director, videographer, editor for "Animal Warfare of Ilioupolis" and "Blood-e" making web and tv commercials in cooperation with several celebrities such as Vanessa Mae, Giorgos Mavridis, Giorgos Xraniotis, Joys Evidi, Katrina Tsandali etc.
